LOCAL WISDOM RELIGIOUS SOCIETY AS FORMING COHESION IN VILLAGE ILAWE ALILA VILLAGE EAST SOUTHEAST DISTRICT EAST NUSA KABOLA

Abstract

Local knowledge is an important part of the resolution of inter-religious conflicts, the public will have the concept of unity in diversity. This research was conducted in Ilawe village because the village has a unique form of harmony compared to other regions. The method used in this study is exploratory research method with an inductive approach. The informant came from the government, religion, community leaders and the public. The results showed that there is a unique local knowledge that is held strongly by the community in Kampung Ilawe namely: Bela baja or oath custom symbolizing the Christian brotherhood and Islam, mutual respect and appreciate other religions, ignore the differences, cooperate in maintaining security, unified reject conflict issues. Expectations religious leaders and community leaders are the values need to be passed on to generations fraternity that harmony is maintained.
